Hey WiiM community!

We're excited to announce the launch of our Community Curators, dedicated to keeping our forums in perfect harmony!

What's the Community Curators All About?

As valued members, you know how vital a well-organized forum is. We're looking for volunteers to join this group and help:
  • Add relevant tags to threads for easier navigation.
  • Move posts to the correct categories.
  • Mark the solutions to questions when answered.

Why Join?

As a Community Curator, you'll play a vital role in shaping the WiiM community's future. Your contributions will directly impact the forum and WiiM experience, helping others find valuable information and getting some inside access to WiiM. By joining our Curator team, you'll not only enhance the community but also be included in future community programs we run, including being a top pick for beta testing WiiM!
You might also develop new skills, build relationships, and gain recognition as a trusted community leader if that’s something that tickles your fancy.
  • Be part of an elite group shaping the WiiM community experience
  • Gain recognition as trusted and knowledgeable members
  • Help create a harmonious environment
  • Get exclusive access to Curators' discussions and feedback channels

Ready to Strike a Chord?

Volunteer now and help us:
  1. Refine the Curators' roles and responsibilities!
  2. Shape the group's future!
  3. Make the WiiM forums an amazing resource!

I'd like to nominate @Mr Ee and @slartibartfast as Community Curators.

Both have a history as very active members of the community. Both are active in a wide variety of sub-forums dealing with many different aspects of WiiM products, rather than just being specialists in certain topics. They both have a reputation for being helpful to the community (not just writing post after post), as evidenced by their impressive reaction score per post. Last but not least, they're both native speakers, which I think is an advantage, as it keeps the subtleties from getting lost and reduces the potential for misunderstandings.

Boring and predictable pick? Yeah, maybe. But why should I care? ;)

Ohhh no @Wiimer on your list?

I nominate you, maybe because of the number of times you prompted me as moderator to move posts into the correct forum ;)

Seriously though, you’d be great for this role - you’re clearly a talented taxonomist :)

Jack of all Wiims, master of none, eh? :)

I have been thinking of this since I saw call.

Unfortunately, currently I have some personal reasons that mean my time spent here is much more sporadic than it used to be and I'm going to have to graciously decline the nomination / invitation.
But fear not, I'll still regale you with my acerbic wit every chance I get.

Thank you. But for me that is too much of a burden. 😂
I did promise no conscription, but many hands make light work :)

If you just helped by adding tags when you were reading a thread, it'd be helpful to everyone. But I understand not wanting to feel too much pressure. If you and @Mr Ee don't think you've got time, don't worry about it, you can always decide later to join in the fun. Or if you want to try it out and leave later, that'd be an option.

Looks like there's ... errr ... limited support for the former, probably because many fear the latter. ;)

Hey everyone, I just want to bump this to the top and remind everyone we're still looking for some people to join the team! We might have some exclusive swag as definitely not a bribe :)
