Introducing WiiM Bar: See the Sound. Build the Theater.

📢WiiM Bar is here.

We’re excited to introduce WiiM Bar, our first display-first Dolby Atmos® soundbar, designed to bring powerful home theater sound, deep WiiM control, and at-a-glance playback visibility into one elegant living room device.

WiiM users have always valued control, clarity, and flexibility. With WiiM Bar, we wanted to bring that same experience to home theater — not just through the app, but directly on the soundbar itself.

At the center of WiiM Bar is a
glass-covered 2.1-inch round touch display that can show album art, track info, EQ, Smart Presets, Recently Played content, clock faces, dynamic wallpapers, audio visualizations, and playback/source controls.

Your soundbar is no longer just a black box under the TV.

What Makes WiiM Bar Different?

🎵 See the Sound

WiiM Bar features a vibrant 2.1-inch full-color touch display built directly into the front of the soundbar. View playback information, album art, EQ, Smart Presets, clock faces, visualizations, and more without opening the app.

🎬 Immersive 3.0.2 Dolby Atmos® Sound

WiiM Bar is built around an 8-driver acoustic system with 4 passive radiators, delivering a wide soundstage, clear dialogue, height effects, and room-filling sound from a single soundbar.
The acoustic system includes:

  • 3× front mid-woofers: 110 × 52 mm
  • 3× front tweeters: 52 × 52 mm
  • 2× top-firing full-range height drivers: 52 × 52 mm
  • 4× passive radiators: 115 × 50 mm, front and rear
  • 135W system power
WiiM Bar supports LPCM, Dolby Atmos/TrueHD/DD+, AC3, DTS, and DTS:X via HDMI eARC, Optical, and Line In.

🏠 Expandable to 5.1.2 Home Theater

Start with WiiM Bar as a standalone 3.0.2 Dolby Atmos® soundbar, then expand your system by grouping compatible WiiM devices for wireless surrounds and subwoofer support.
Build up to a
5.1.2 WiiM Home Theater without running new speaker wire across the room.

Looks good.

I'm not currectly in the market for this, but I can guarentee there'll be one request for a feature.

"Can you turn the display off? I don't want a circle of lught under my TV when I'm trying to watch a film!"

That aside (and I'm 99% sure you'll have that covered already), keep up the great work.

Oh, and I have a challange for WiiM, as oit appears you can do pretty much anything at the moment. Try to find a way to give us real Atmos height channels without drilling holes in our ceilings. Not reflecting up-firing speakers, the real thing.

Over to you.

Solving sync and delay issues with the Sound/Sound Lite stereo pairs and sub are still in the making and now comes a soundbar to further add to the complexity? Especially as the system is being advertised as wireless. Good luck.
I say, first things first.

I don’t think it will be an issue.

I don’t think it will be an issue.
I hope so.
My major concern is that the WiiM dev team will be 110% involved in solving the problems popping up from complex system integration.
As a consequence I see the classic stereo users and and higher end development being shoved over the ridge.

The soundbar adds a new category, but it does not mean the existing roadmap disappears. If anything, the feedback from Sound/Sound Lite pairing, sub integration, sync, and delay behavior is exactly the kind of real-world feedback that helps improve the whole ecosystem.

That said, I agree with the general point: reliability and sync need to be rock solid, especially when products are being used together wirelessly. I’ll keep making sure this kind of feedback gets surfaced internally, because it is important that new product expansion does not come at the expense of the core WiiM experience.

No subwoofer output, so wireless subs only via another WiiM device on the network with a sub output? That's not ideal. Many people want a better sub than the WiiM Sub, but would be happy with this sound bar otherwise and may not want to deal with having a full-blown WiiM Ultra just for attaching a third party sub.

I'm underwhelmed. Only one HDMI port so no pass-through and ARC dependancy. No subwoofer output??

Still dabbling in home theater without mechanisms to compete there properly. Meanwhile, WiiM's teeing up customers expecting to have a quality and reliable surround sound system using WiFi but who will become frustrated with lip-sync-resync normalcy.

What I like about this includes the Technology Drivers for Capabilities to migrate onto the Ultra and Amp Ultra (and them hopefully to the other devices too):
Clear Voice / AI Dialog Enhancement
Night Mode (Dynamic Range / Loudness Control)
ATMOS Height Channels
Dolby Atmos/TrueHD/DD+, DTS/DTS:X Decoding

Yes, you'll be able to use the WiiM Bar alongside a WiiM Amp to drive your ceiling speakers, giving you true, non-reflecting height channels. Stay tuned!
