Is WiiM Help Center same account as this Forum?

Hello,

Opened my first ticket under the Help Center and when it asks me to log in I use the same credentials I use under this forum but it's not taking. I tried creating a new account there with the same email as here and it said there's already an account with that email. So something is wrong here?

Also, tags are odd here, you have to use one of the discrete set of tags listed in the tags link/page else you can't post?

Thanks you,
Roy

Ideally, you should raise a ticket thru the more/feedback section in the WiiM home app as that way it’ll include your device logs with your ticket.

When I submit a ticket thru the app, I use a different email to the one I use here, so if I need to login to the Help Centre, I use the email used when I submitted the ticket.

Re tags, only the admin/mod/curators can create new ones, hopefully the list will expand as we categorise more posts.

You cannot force everybody filing a ticket (preferably via the WiiM Home app) to also create a forum account. So yes, these accounts are definitely separate.

I'm using a different email address for the WiiM Help Center but I just tried to register an account with the same email address as I use for the forum and I didn't observe any issues.

That's how it is. Not on all sub-forums. You managed to pick one that has nothing to do with your questions. :D

Ah I'm such a dufus guys, I'm submitting this remotely and don't have quick access to my email but did just see that it sent one for activation of this support account which I have done.

@Burnside fabulous suggestion as I work IT and logs are very necessary, perhaps when I am home this evening I will try this and even better (if the logs update real-time) submit a ticket while the issue is occurring.

Thanks guys!
Roy
