Issue using Spotify video with WiiM Pro Plus

Good morning. I am trying to play a Spotify (video only playlist) with the WiiM Pro but when using the WiiM it will not play the video (sound is working). I understand that the WiiM is not meant to be a video player but is there a way around this ?

The end goal is to play a video stream with good quality sound !!

I'd guess your only way to have both is to play your Spotify video on a TV which is then connected to your WiiM pro, say using an optical connection.

You'll need to cast to a video streamer or TV - you can connect your TV to the optical input on the WiiM pro and cast music videos from the Spotify app on your phone to the Spotify app on your TV (or FireTV stick etc.).

Thanks. I am running Spotify on a laptop which works fine until i hook in the WiiM. With the Wiim connected the video feed stops !!
