Not sure what I was expecting, but I was not expecting to have my mind blown. This little speaker sounds amazing.

Currently placed in a bookshelf in my wife's office. Did pull the speaker out from the back of the shelf about 8" to allow the bass port to breathe, speaker went from "good" pushed all the way in to freakishly outstanding ( a $400 speaker has no business sounding like this).

Comparison points - sounds better than my B&Ws off a WiiM Pro plus with a pair of Fosis, doesn't quite keep up with the Martin Logan ESLs running off an Arcam SA20 with a WiiM ultra ($400 vs $4500... and its really really close at low volumes).

I just got one. Sounds great and it was really easy to set up. I have it in our kitchen on a shelf where there wasn't room for 2 speakers. I can't imagine any 1 speaker solution sounding any better and the fact that I can use EQ makes it even better.
I was quite surprised how much WiiM room correction did improve the representation of the C10 MkII in my case. It really did make it sound more believable, more grown up, even less boxy. Results may vary in different locations, of course, but I really liked it.

Bummer, we cannot have room correction and EQ (to tailor the sound to the mood, the music, the hour of the day, ...) applied at the same time, just on top of each other. 😇

Just discovered an issue. For some reason the sync feature is not available for my c10. Anyone else? And anyone know why?

What are you syncing with? If a WiiM, can you run the sync process from that and sync that with the c10 rather than the other way round?

I guess the C10 may not have a sync function like WiiM devices as it looks like they physically don’t have the pinhole mic WiiM devices have for that function.

syncing with a turntable playing live out of stereo so there is not a way to adjust that. The stereo feeds a WiiM pro line in. That is joined to the c10. I tried looking for a way to monitor the feed to the WiiM pro instead of live audio but haven’t figured that out yet.

It can probably be synced using LMS. I'll get my coat 🤣

Parking the c10 for a moment, are you playing on the stereo’s speakers at the same time as feeding the WiiM Pro? What’s the WiiM Pro’s output playing on or is it merely grouped with the C10 and only the C10 is playing? Not sure what audio you’re syncing. There’s almost bound to be a loss of sync between your stereo’s speakers (if you are using them) and an external feed into the WiiM and then the C10 due to the processing of the audio stream.

Yes I'm playing stereo speakers same time as C10. I have the WiiM Pro going in and out of Tape of the stereo amp. If I switch the amp over to "Tape" I can't get audio from the phono (coming from the WiiM). I might try moving the output of the WiiM over to another input of the amp. Hopefully that makes sense.

My opinion is that the C10 and A10 don't need it; what would it do? You can see my reasoning here. But it's not an official answer, just a guess and I might be wrong. What you need with the turntable is some way to delay the output to match the delays in the other devices.

Maybe just 5 mile long rca cables. :)
:)

A little more realistically

turntable -> phono preamp -> Wiim Pro -> amplifier -> speakers

ought to do the trick, letting you group it in synchronization with the C10. May involve more shuffling of cables than is ideal.

Actually i just figured this out. I moved output of wiim pro to another input on the stereo. Now i change to this channel “tape monitor” to listen to turntable which is going through wiim. A little convoluted but in sync with the rest of the wiim system.
