I installed ngrok on a pi zero many moons ago - I used the original manual setup instructions (which were heavy going). Fortunately, it's worked ever since. Very occasionally I have to re-enable if the ip changes.
I played around with the full version but found it too command heavy for my brain. In truth, I really only use it to turn devices on/off and to switch between favourites.
I misclassified it as a plugin - sorry. There was originally a voice plugin which worked quite well but the developer ceased support.
