Squeezelite LMS UI bug due latest WiiM firmware?

I've always ran my various LMS players with the volume control locked at 100% and don't display the volume slider in the interface. I run several LMS players on my home network. Recently I did a synchronize between my Logitech Radio and my Wiim Pro to get same audio in two separate rooms. I don't know if this is coincidence or not, but I then noticed the LMS web app for the WiiM Pro player had the volume control displayed on the LMS web app (and Squeezelite-X as well) and the ability to hide it is no longer in the Material Skin plug in settings. This only occurs on the WiiM Ultra associated LMS player. The other LMS players using non-WiiM devices are working as expected.

I posted this on the slimdevices forum (https://forums.slimdevices.com/foru...-announce-squeezelite-x?p=1742629#post1742629). The reply in this post indicates it is related to the most recent WiiM Pro firmware.

Has this been confirmed on this forum? I did a quick scan and nothing jumped out. I've sent feedback via the WHA as well.

Well, I am on WiiM Pro’s 1/14 firmware update, and my volume is still showing as variable, not fixed. I reported this months ago, and was told a fix was coming. No fix yet for me…

Did you check the LMS player settings? I had to manually set it to Output level is fixed at 100%.

Bless you for making me dig in and check that setting. Though I previously had it set to 100% fixed volume, it changed somewhere along the way. All good now.
