Replacing an old Onyko AV three zone receiver. Do not need the video functions so looking for a straight amp solutions. Zone 1 has four speakers and a sub woofer, zone 2 has two speakers and zone 3 is outdoors with a combined l/r speaker. I have two options and would love feedback.
Looking at a multichannel amp that has volume controls for each channel. Wiim Pro Plus could feed all the channels but I would have to manually adjust each channel's volume. Not ideal.
Option One is to have the Pro Plus feed zone 1 (main zone, LR) but have a Mini linked to zone 2 and a Mini to zone 3. Do I understand correctly that all three Wiim devices can be synced to play the same thing but volume can be individually controlled in the Wiim app.
Option Two is to have the Wiim PP feed the amp and use inwall volume devices to control each zone.
Is there an Option Three?
