New House build - Media room setup and speaker locations etc

Trying to design this media room which is frantically approaching wiring stage.
Will have a Yamaha A2080 Amp which is capable of 4 zones and few other features
I already have a few Polk in wall speakers id like to use and get a few more to finish this room off for movie and gaming etc for the family.

MEDIA ROOM
Im Thinking
Centre wall speaker below TV
Left and right wall speaker either side of TV if i can fit them.
Not sure what to do for the rear or surround etc.



The Living/Dining/Kitchen area
Id like to put probably 2 ceiling speakers and somehow have these connect to a Wiim amp that can stream music from Youtube Music which the family uses on their phones.

2 outdoor speakers near the pool area connected to the Wiim so the music cant be played out there also.

Help me out on speaker placement ideas and where to put the Wiim etc and Yamaha.

Hi welcome,

It is a very nice house!
In my opinion, I would recommend a Dolby Atmos 5.2.4 speaker placement for the A2080 in a media room. Wire for 4 speakers in the ceiling or on the top of the wall.

This is an example of Yamaha's "overhead" placement. (4 speakers on the ceiling)


This is a "front-height" configuration where the speakers are placed on the wall.


Also, it would be ideal to move the TV to the center of the room if possible. It may be best to treat the wall surface so that the TV can be moved in the future.
