This morning, I found a new roadmap.

I'm sorry if I interrupted @RyanWithWiiM's work, but I couldn't stand it..😩

...I expect about 18 updates per year.
1 update = approx. 3 min. Total = 0.9 hours. I'll go and run a bath... 🙃

  • Standby & Clock: Option for a permanent clock (screensaver) during playback or standby, and adjustable timeout durations.
:love::love::love:

The management of positive gains and the possibility of saturation due to subject processing, autogain associated with roomfit/peq/gec (necessary since 2022 and the first gec)...still not there?
The presence of DRC mode to camouflage this (which renders any use of a VU meter obsolete), is this still not disabling?
Any visibility on its engagement "with a truepeak overload"?
To allow for an assessment of the necessity and need to reduce the level...
Don't fool yourself, a very large majority of what you listen to is more than just flirting with zero and above...
so these are real issues...
:rolleyes:

(When I read about expectations, approaches, and claims of ultraclock i2s dsd "racing" power supplies, audiophile machines that just stream, etc.... I can't help but smile... For now, Wiim's audio approaches are within the hardware standards of "modest Chinese" brands like Fosi etc., very good value for money, very inexpensive...
but who insists on asking Fosi to move towards expensive, niche, audiophile offerings, etc.?... No one that I know of!
;-)
The streaming aspect of Wiim is commendable and makes "the difference.")
