Hi,
What does “searched” mean? Are you trying to connect a WiiM Sub Pro?

If you’re referring to the subwoofer settings in the WiiM app, tap the gear icon on the device card and then tap “Sub Out.”

Please have a look here:

Im told to activate the the subwoofer first, then the WiiM Amp Ultra. I see no power button. How do i shut off the Ultra?

I've read instructions for SubWoofer setup w WiiM Amp Ultra.
1. Why am I told to keep the room quiet at one point, then told to sync w music playing. Maybe I am getting all this out of order?
2. I synced the subwoofer using the WiiM app. I don't understand why moving the Crossover Frq app button has no effect? The SubWfr back is set to LEF.

The WiiM Home App tells you to keep the room quiet when performing the RoomFit room correction procedure. Of course, the procedure will play its own test tones then (which are not quiet).

I'm not aware of any advice to sync anything with music playing. Can you be more specific here?

Which subwoofer are you using with your WiiM Amp Ultra? The crossover frequency setting does have an effect, for sure. It adjusts a high pass filter for your main speakers and a matching low pass filter for your subwoofer right at this frequency. There might be a certain range of crossover frequency settings working equally (or at least similarly) well. What did you expect to happen when moving the slider? Which speaker do you have connected to the WiiM Amp Ultra?

Klipsch subwoofer, set at LFE. These instructions from WiiM audio language are 100 ways to say the same dang thing. I have to get AI to decipher all the instructions. Not fun.

I think I understand now after studying the manual, AI suggestions, and replies here. T-Rex is sounding sweet without overwhelming from Subwoofer w gain down slightly on back and 80hz in the WiiM app for cross-over. It would help for the manual to say "NO POWER SWITCH". Syncing the subwoofer needed 10ms to delay main speakers. WiiM now finds my bluetooth source each time after a pause at startup. Been a long weekend. Thanks to all who replied. Appreciate it.

Actually, I have no idea what your saying here, but I'm very glad that you like what ended up with. (y)

Not knowing all the exact details, it looks to me like you did your subwoofer setup exactly as it should be.

So I boot my iMac this morning. I open Music app and play a track which plays through the iMac speakers. So where is the WiiM Amp Ultra? Do I have to pick up my iPhone to get the WiiM to remember to use bluetooth? I used to have a driver that never forgot. Now every day is new for the WiiM?

Have you saved the Wiim as your preferred audio output device ?

Can't answer the "remembering" question but if the iMac is fairly close to where the Ultra is my advise would be to connect the iMac to the Ultra via digital connection (optical/coax spdif)

A couple of things:
1. Does your iMac support the iOS App Store? If so, install the iOS version of the WiiM Home app and use that rather than reaching for your phone.

2. Why are you using Bluetooth? Are you using the Apple Music streaming service? If not, then there may be better ways of playing your music to your WiiM. Also, you may be able to install AirConnect on your iMac and use AirPlay 1 to send the audio stream to your WiiM at lossless 16/44.1 - see https://forum.wiimhome.com/threads/...-sonos-chromecast-players-using-airplay.4644/

Going to try optical port.

No. The latest used input is always selected. Even after a reboot.

And if you connect via Bluetooth to the WiiM device it will also automatically switch to that input, except if playing something else.

What is new?
