No display on LG C3 - Wiim Amp

Hi guys

Just received my Wiim Amp and I was asking, should have I something displayed on the screen when I’m on the right input ?

Also the Wiim Amp is seen as Sonor bar ? Is that normal ?

I dont wanna open a new thread but still got a question.

Is there a way to control the Wiim app when the phone is locked ? On iOS i have to open the wiim amp to change or see the music i'm listening

The Remote control and presets? much quicker than using a phone / tablet. It also incorporates Alex at the push of a button for playing beyond the presets.

I'm not talking about controlling the wiim amp, as you say the remote make the job ! and it makes it in a really good way.

But, when i use deezer, i just have to wake up my phone to see the artist and say "oh I like him". Here with the wiim app, i have to unlock the phone and open the app to see the artist.

Was asking if i missed something on displaying this information.

Can't you just use the Deezer App with Deezer Connect to the Ultra? Then you should be able to control Deezer from the lock screen.

It’s not how Spotify or Tidal implement their connect function. Deezer Connect actually controls another instance of Deezer running on another device (tablet, phone PC).

You won’t - as per the previous response, Deezer Connect is a poor substitute for proper casting as it only acts as a remote control for another instance of the Deezer app. WiiM devices don’t run the Deezer app.

Yep was just answering to Yoku. Waiting for the widget, wifey will use airplay (she doesn't care about quality :'( )
