Now, I am not in the camp that says nothing (cables and accessories) makes a difference. I am also not in the camp who believes in esoteric magic dots and quantum thingees.

I have to say this video made me laugh. Like I said, I know cables and accessories "can" make a difference, but this is just too much!

It's simple really, just reverse the polarity of the neutron flow and everything will sound better.

No, do it properly. Just buy one (or more) of their Master Fuses.

"The Synergistic Research Master Fuse is first Synergistic Research fuse developed expressly for full resolution, dynamics, soundstaging, speed, and impact without the need to create musicality as a system-wide fuse loom. Instead, the Master Fuse has been engineered to work alongside Purple and Orange fuses to create dramatic new levels of sonic realism, featuring wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling soundstaging with unparalleled resolution, dynamics, and frequency extension."

Quantum Thingees are real. I see them everywhere ever since I watched the Scott Walker video.

Synergistic Research also sells the 'Vibratron', a device that is as tall as a floor lamp but provides no illumination. Only $4000....

Does one use the 'Vibratron' in place of, or in combination with, the 'Orgasmatron.' Introduced in Woody Allen's Sleeper, back in 1973.

Link to YouTube video from Sleeper, which shows the use of the 'orgasmatron.' The YT imbed won't post here. ~6 minutes, includes the recently departed Diane Keaton.

Decent quality cables? Yes, makes sense to invest in something better than El-Cheapo cables when connecting decent quality devices. Not convinced however, that spending many thousands on cables represents any kind of sensible upgrade. Must be the very definition of the law of diminishing returns.

I agree. spending reasonably on better cables is ok. Not thousands.

One of the things that made the biggest audible impact for me personally, was going from 16 gauge to 10 gauge speaker wire. Everything was fuller, clearer and more open. Nothing expensive either I only paid $30 on Amazon.

Did a similar thing many years ago. Made up some speaker cables by twisting a pair of single solid-core mains cables together. Noticeable improvement over the ‘bell-wire’ used previously.

Yes, but it's handmade ... 😆 ... and the middle Vibratron is made from gold and the top one made from silver. They will only increase in value over time.

Not entirely sure if I can fully trust the precision-engineered description, though, because the setup guide says that the top Vibratron is chrome, not silver.

Who cares about such minor oddities if it goes to 11? And it does, when connected to the Active Ground Block with an HD SX Ground Cable (sold separately)!

Handmade? It's probably better than if they made it with their feet!

When I bought a pair of B&W 703 S3s from a guy in the Chicago area, he gave me a set of cables he had laying around. They were made by Synergistic Research, and seemed like they were intended to jump-start diesel locomotives. I'm not a believer in magic cables, and when I looked up the company and saw the vibratron (and some of their other scam products), I immediately listed the cables on ebay. I got $250 for them, bringing the cost of the B&Ws down to $2650 for the pair. No, I never did hook those cables to the B&Ws...
