is there a way to restrict access to a wiim device. i want to be able to require a password to be able to control a player. is this possible?

If I understand the question correctly, do you need to limit management to household members? You can disable touch control in the device settings and set a password for the device on which Wim Home is installed.

Need a little more information, but a guest network might do it.

: ))) Well, you've given a clue. Not knowing can be a hindrance. Although the children are smart now.

Then you need a router in which you can restrict access for devices to the local network. Well, or connect them all as guests.
