Wiim Ultra- set in Wiim device as fixed output
Set in LMS fixed output

Adjusting my android phone physical buttons alters the actual volume from the speakers, in Material Skin

The LMS display at the top where volume slider is does not change, it's grayed out

The display on the Ultra does not change with a lower volume number when I change phone volume.
Adjusting physical dial on the Ultra does not effect speaker volume

I thought this could be something up with my phone etc, however I just tested a Sonos as UPNP, set to fixed output in LMS, then touching the physical volume buttons on the phone does NOT alter the actual volume from the speakers.

So possible softsqueeze Wiim issue?

I'll test if my SB Touches adjust volume (again fixed output in the device and LMS)

Ok just tested squeeze box touch, on the phone, volume control doesn't do anything.

So definitely wiim bug

I couldn’t figure out the logic of why it might be a WiiM Squeezelite bug as both LMS and the WiiM device have fixed volume set for the player, but I tried it with my WiiM Mini which uses the upnpbridge plugin, not the Squeezelite client, and it doesn’t seem to misbehave I.e. the phone volume keys don’t impact it, so I’m coming round to it being a Squeezelite client bug too.

Shall you raise a ticket to WiiM?

How do you do that?
In the WiiM home app on the same device as your Lyrion app, go to more…/feedback just after you experience the issue and enter details of the issue. That way your WiiM app/device logs are sent hopefully giving the WiiM engineers some evidence/trace of the problem.

Just tried the new material skin app.

Adjusting phone volume still effects the spl on the speakers, even though no display on the phone or wiim shows the volume is changing. Fixed volume in wiim device in wiim app and lms.
