WiiM App Version 3.0.5.24121118
IPhone 15 Pro Max, IOS 18.1.1
IPhone 14 Pro Max, IOS 17.6.1
MacBook Pro M1 Max, macOs Sequoia 15.1.1, Music app Version 1.5.1.24
Device WiiM Mini
Firmware Version 4.6.634732
Audio output - Optical out
Audio Input - Wi-Fi 5GHz
SPDIF Output Resolution 24bit/96kHz
This is the first time I've had any problems since I bought the Wiim mini
I'm facing problems since the last update.
I can't play music at all.
When playing local music from my iPhone via the Wiim App, I first notice a delayed communication with the Wiim Mini, then the song plays for 3-4 seconds and then stops in the app for 30-40 seconds (the elapsed seconds indicator of the song stops as if a pause has been pressed), after which it continues to play for a few more seconds and stops again.
When I play music through the iOS Music app, I can select the WiiM Mini without any problems, the app continues to play the song, but there is no sound from the WiiM Mini device.
The same thing happens when I try to play music through the other listed Apple devices.
The devices have no problem because they play music through Airplay or Carplay on other devices without any problems.
When I select an optical output resolution in the WiiM app, in the device settings, in Audio Settings, SPDIF Output Resolution, and I play test audio, the entire test, which lasts about 10 seconds or more, plays without a problem.

Hi,

I believe the latest version of the current WiiM app is 3.0.6 (yes on Android).

Make sure you can update the app first.
