Yes, I've experienced a similar problem myself. This might be an issue specific to certain phone models. In my case, the WiiM app works fine as long as it's in the foreground and the phone screen is on, but when the phone goes into sleep mode, the music stops after a while.

I recommend submitting a ticket via the feedback section in the WiiM app.

I have submitted a ticket last year and now again. Unfortunately I've had this with several phones and it happens even with the app open whilst I'm looking at it... I can't believe this hasn't been fixed!

I've had this problem on my Wii Ultra for a long time. It happens regardless of the brand of phone or the operating mode...I've tried everything. The solution is to download the hi fi cast app. or to roll back the old Wii Home app to September of last year, then everything works for me, but the new features are lost. I'm slowly losing my temper with my Wii Ultra. It's like it's in a testing phase non-stop.
