Hi, I’m looking to buy a Wiim Pro Plus. My aim is to recreate my former Sonos system which let me stream online music sources (plus my local FLAC library of burned CDs) via a Sonos Connect into my old stereo amp with wired passive speakers in my lounge, along with two mains powered wireless Sonos speakers in my kitchen and conservatory. This let me walk from room to room playing the same music in three places simultaneously. For a variety of reasons, the old Sonos kit is either broken or sold and I no longer trust them. So my question is: can the Wiim Pro Plus take its place? It looks like it will connect to my old stereo via the line out phonos, but I read somewhere that any additional wireless speakers may have lag compared to the wired connections, and thus cannot play the same music in three rooms at the same time without sound lag as you walk from room to room. Can someone please confirm this either way?
However, if it will work as I want, could you also please recommend some small wireless speakers to buy which are known to work well with the Wiim Pro Plus? The new Wiim A10 speakers look perfect, but they are not currently available in my country (UK). So what would be some good alternatives please for two small mains powered wireless speakers to connect to the Wiim Pro Plus for around $250 each? Thank you for any advice!
