Problems with Correction Evaluation

I got my WiiM Ultra last week. So far very satisfied. I then ran the room correction and now with the iMM-6C the calibration works, except for the one-time error message "Oh, the contact has been lost..." Unfortunately, I didn't take a screenshot. Since then, the correction valuation has created a meaningless diagram. The measured curve is missing. Reset and reinstall several times. Didn't help. What can I do?

Thanks in advance.

Arnim

Please post in English.

I'd try deleting the app and re-installing it, as well as powering off your Ultra and then back on again, Then re-run room correction to see if it's any better

First of all, thank you for your support!
Sorry, I wrote in English and my Browser translated it in German.o_O
OK, I'll try it.
Greetings Arnim

Yeah, mine does exactly the same if I try to use my Samsung S23 for room correction. I just use my iPad 🤢 for room correction, it gets saved to the app on all devices. It's a pity though, it worked fine until a couple of updates ago on Android/OneUI. Well I say fine, it really was terrible but at least it gave you the graphs etc after you ran it.

If it’s not working, then submit a ticket and relevant screenshots to WiiM so they can inspect your device logs and identify a fix.

Set rc on flat and run again. I don’t use bk or harman.
What would that change regarding the error with the evaluation screen?

@arlo0462, I've had exactly the same situation with the WiiM Amp firmware 5.0.636856 and the WiiM Home App preceding the 3.0.3.241126. I could not try the latest versions so far.

Make sure to keep the WiiM Home app and the WiiM Ultra firmware up to date and try again.

If it still doesn't work, make sure to send feedvack from inside the WiiM Home app.

By looking his curved it rolled off to fast so I said set to flat to bring those frequencies elevated to flatter level.

That's not the problem. The evaluation result shows just the target curve (which is what it is, of course). But there's no measurement.

I tried RC with Ultra and the latest version of the Android wiim app. I had no problems with it.

If you have multiple apps left in the phone task, please try closing all apps except for WiiM. Also, I think the team said that the problem is more likely to occur if there is an app running (or resident) that uses the microphone.

Also try restarting the phone.

First of all, thanks for all the tips!!
The RC is currently running again. What have I done? I tried with another mobile phone. WiiM home runs as the only app on the phone. No success. So my Honor Magic 5 Pro again. Then the PEQ curve actually reset and start RC again and suddenly everything worked. I thought the settings would simply be overwritten. Currently I'm not trying again "Never stop a running engine!". In fact, I turned off the PEQ. It turns off the bass below 50Hz that I've been working on for so long on the speaker side.
In addition, the measurement with the iMM-6C seems significantly better than that with the built-in microphones.
In my opinion, the Honor Magic 5 Pro's microphones are unsuitable. It's sad that you can't import REW data.

Sure, but import function would be more charming. But life is not a bed of roses.🙄
It’s barely a five minute job and you wouldn’t have to do it often, so when it comes to things like that I prefer WiiM to use their development resources elsewhere. Sure, it would be nice and convenient even if just used once but it’s not a dealbreaker :)

Yes, you're right. I'll set up all my microphones, measuring amplifiers and DACs again in due course 🤪😅

Yes, but I have to do new REW measurements at the listening position. I don't have any for my hifi-PA yet. A cell phone measurement is rather so-so anyway
