Questions about the airplay function of wiim amp ultra

The Wiim Amp Ultra does not support AirPlay. Is it due to hardware limitations? If it does support it, why isn't this feature provided? Is the concern to encourage users to buy the Wiim Mini? Secondly, the lack of a Chinese language option for the device's display is inconvenient; while most of it is understandable, I still can't fully grasp it. Hopefully, future updates will improve this.

I think our best guess is it has more to do with Apple licensing than anything else. I just Bluetooth from my iPhone, and the sound quality is as good as you’d get with AirPlay.
