I have just had a hip replacement so sitting a fair bit higher than my normal listening position, so rather than re setup my Dirac on my Arcam amp I decided to try the room correction built I to the Wiim, I have the Umik-1 mike and imported the calibration file, when I tried to do a per speaker calibration it runs the left speaker but no sound output to the right speaker, but also when it runs the left channel it runs both left and right at the same time.
It will run the stereo correction OK.
I did restart the app but have the same issue, running from my Apple phone.

I thought it might be my dac, I am utilising the dac in my Arcam, but just tried in using the line out and have the same issue, the screen indicates that it is transmitting sound sound but there is no output.

I've been wondering what the appropriate volume level would be for room correction. Is it 50? I used a little over 20 volume myself.
That really depends on your setup.

I use my normal listening volume.

Actually I have noted that in my room I need different RC measures and settings for different volumes. Especially when playing at low volume, the low frequency measures differently.

Does it measure differently or is the perception of the sound different? When I did multiple measurements at different volume levels with REW the curves were always the same shape just level shifted.

It measure differently. It's hard to say if it sounds different, as volume is different. If I change between the saved RCs at same volume there is a bit of difference in the bass.

It's maybe the microphone (just the build in Android) or maybe the room?

I don't use these EQs anymore but used them as a starting point for my own settings.

Maybe if I get a proper microphone I will try again?
