If you are using the phone's built-in microphone, the microphone hole may be dirty or malfunctioning, causing problems with sound collection. You may want to try cleaning it using an air duster or toothbrush. Please be careful not to damage the microphone.

I will try that..thx
As a matter of fact, I have experienced the same problem from time to time. Since I'm using a external microphone, it is possible that there is some kind of error in the WiiM app.
(In fact, it is not uncommon for errors to skew measurement results.)

You may have already done this, but it may be worth trying deleting the cache or reinstalling the WiiM app.

I would also recommend rebooting the app at least every two measurements when doing multiple RCs in a row.

Edit : It may be unrelated, but please try rebooting the phone as well.

Hi Wiimer & Ro,

We'll be updating the algorithm to address the unexpected noisy prompt issue and plan to release a new app version in the coming days. Please check after the update to see if the issue is resolved.
