Same album different sample rates?

Another difference between the Tidal app and the WiiM app is the same album by the same artist, the Tidal app plays 24/192 while the WiiM app only 16/44... How come??

WiiM app is not yet updated to support tidal's recently adopted Hi-res flac.
At the moment, WiiM app can only display bit rate of an hi-res stream started from tidal connect. Any stream started from WiiM app itself, wiil be just Hi-Fi or MQA.

Yes, I see. Even using the Tidal app to play on the WiiM, still it uses the FLAC 16/44 version of the album.

Well, now just have to wait for the devs to catch up with Tidal changes.

I forgot to mention that hi-res playing from tidal connect, is available if specific beta fw is installed on WiiM.
