Hi,
I want to replace in the bathroom a Sonos (to be more precise its an IKEA) speaker. For that I am searching for an active speaker in which I can incorporate a WIIM mini. Therefore the size should be more or less the same (10cm*15cm*30cm). To power the WIIM mini easily it would be good if that speaker gets the 230V directly.
Or has somebody already build something like that?

Thanks and Kind Regards,
Marco

Welcome.

230v means not the US, so I'm assuming the audio pro c10 wiim edition is simply not readily available where you are, and possibly too big (165x320x180) or too expensive?
I don't understand the intent / expectation behind "To power the WIIM mini easily it would be good if that speaker gets the 230V directly".

You're right- 230V is in my case germany. I had not even known that there are such speakers planned. It looks that they are not yet available in Europe (A10 an C10). That is exactly what I am searching for. Maybe waiting a few months might be the easiest.
To the powering question: if an active speakers gets e.g. 12V DC and I incorporate a WIIM mini I need a kind of special adapter from 12V DC to 5V DC (yes possible but more effort than the standard USB Adapter 230->5V).
Thanks a lot for pointing to the new devices!

Kind Regards,
Marco
