Morning
I picked up a WiiM pro plus to go with my Ultra. My intent is to connect the Pro+ to my Denon 4700H. So a couple pre connecting questions.
Can I use the 12v trigger from the Pro+ wake the Denon?
Is there a way to limit the volume, for instance. The wife starts the Ultra in the front room, inadvertently blasting the Pro+ in the media room. There is a difference in power between my SVS powered monitors( Ultra setup) and the Rotel Amp in the media room.
Do I have to link each time for both units to sync? In the morning I would prefer just the front room Ultra.
Thanks
Joe

I have a Pro+ connected to my 6700H.
I understand the 12v trigger on the Denon is an output for the Denon to trigger other devices. I don't think it can be used to trigger the Denon on.
With the Denon having its own preamp stage and volume control, you probably want to set the output of the Pro+ to FIXED.
Both of the above will prevent any unintentional blasting of audio, but also make it slightly less "integrated" when when playing with your other WiiM devices. You'd need to physically turn on your Denon and select the input corresponding to the Pro+, and lastly the volume is controlled from the Denon rather than the Pro+ and WiiM Home App.
Grouping and ungrouping is easy.
