Send files to USB Drive

Is there a way for me to send files to the usb drive I have connected to the WiiM Ultra? I was thinking server but I can't figure out how to connect WiiM to my Mac this way. I've seen one blog post suggesting it can be done but reed only wich is not what I need. Any tips on that?

My goal is to build music library on USB Drive without juggling the drive between wiim and Mac.

WiiM Ultra does not yet do this. It is supposedly in the roadmap for future enhancement.

Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 is able to do it via SMB for internally installed NVMe drives as well as USB-attached storage.
