Hi,
Just get a WIIM Ultra. Being able to attach and scan a USB stick with all my songs and playlists.
Playlists work fine, however I did not find a way to sort them (or let them) sorted the same way as M3U file content.
Is there an option to let them ordered as there are loaded in M3U file.

Thanks

Out of interest are your multi-disc albums sorted correctly? We've seen reports that these are sorted by track number (1, 1, 2, 2 etc) rather than disc number, track number.

Is your playlist being sorted by track number?

Hi, Many thanks for help,
No, my playlist is a EXTM3U playlist with songs from different artists and albums in any order.
I use Track order on WIIM android application. It does not fit playlist order.

I don't have an Amp/Ultra to test with, but shouldn't Sort By be set to Default (it should for third party servers)?

My question was, is WiiM incorrectly ordering your tracks by track number rather than playlist order, as it seems to be doing for multi-disc albums.

Thanks.,
I test all proposal. Default does not do the trick.
It is surprising that basic is not kept. A playlist is based on records sequence order independently of the software being used, MM5, Plex, Foobar2000, ... These software products used my playlists as they are and so there is no difference.
Do you think I should raise a ticket ?

Absolutely!
It sounds like USB Input browsing has a fundamental problem with its presentation.
I'd check that your multi-disc albums are sorted correctly, and if not raise a ticket about that too.

I can confirm that there is not way to get the sort order as defined in the playlist file, no matter which sort option I choose. This applies to the WiiM Amp and the WiiM Amp Pro just the same.

Hi, many thanks for helping me so much to circumscribe this problem. I have created a ticket.

#516058 Playlist M3U sort order

Hi, Regarding playlist M3U from USB stick. It loads and it plays successfully. I got many playlists made of multiple different artists, albums and tracks. The order of the items inside the playlist is very important. However, on WIIM android application playlist internal order is not kept. Currently, you can sort by "Default", "Track Number", "Title", "Artist", "Album". There is no option for keeping internal playlist record sequence file order. This is not a special request. This is how behave other applications such Media Monkey, Plex, Foobar2000 and all the others.
Will it be possible to have an additional sort option for playlists, such as "Internal" or "File" or whatsoever you'll like to use.
Many thanks
