Hi.
I'm using Tidal, Qobuz, and Youtube music.
I found It sound very compressed and dull when I hear the all streaming services in wiimhome aps.
It sound normally when I use individual apps using their exclusive protocol of each (Tidal connect, Qobuz connect......)
So I'm wondering.......

- In wiimhome apps, does it play by something like MPD on Linux?
- Does it reduce or cut off sample rate or bit rate of track playing in wiimhome app mode?
( So that you can reduce the CPU processing and change over to other music streaming service promptly. I'm wondering cause it's much faster playing tracks in different streaming services on wiimhome app)

For tidal and qobuz it shouldn't sound different.
Both of them, within the wiim app, allow you to set the streaming quality.
e.g. for tidal (I no longer have qobuz), open tidal in the wiim app, press the Cog in top left and choose Quality.
For qobuz I believe there's a 3 line 'burger' menu.

They should sound identical if you have set the same streaming quality as said above. Whether you use the native app or the WiiM home app, the same track will be sent and processed the same no matter how it’s requested.
