Sound US Watch Party

Wondering when us folks in the US will start actually receiving their Sounds.

I ordered mine on November 21st from Amazon hours after it was released for order. Amazon said “Arriving December 11 - January 11”.
Well, December 11th has come and gone…. And Amazon still says “Arriving December 11 - January 11”.

Wondering when we’re really going to see them arrive. Hopefully not starting mid January as I have a long (3 month) trip planned… may have to cancel my order… I hope not.

So has anyone received one yet? Let’s have a virtual watch party and post when we start seeing arrive!!!

I'm in the same position. Mine is predicted to arrive between December 13th and January 13th. I'm hoping an actual shipping date comes soon. It's interesting that the white version shows a possible pre-christmas arrival when it was listed later—maybe less people jumped on that preorder?

My delivery date was moved forward from Jan 11 to Dec 27.

Mine was scheduled to arrive yesterday, then today. Now it's been sent to Iowa for some reason after being just over the border in Illinois (I'm in Wisconsin.)

My order expected ship date originally was a range between December 11 to January 11th
Then December 12th it change simply January 11.
Then somewhere around mid last week it change to December 29th.
Then late last week the expected ship date changed again to December 27th.
This morning it still says 27th but the status is still “ordered”. Not “shipped”.

I ordered my unit early morning on 11/21. I am located in Maryland.

Been a long wait since the original announcement of expected availability.
I am still looking forward to receiving my order but I have to admit that the excitement has dulled.
I truly hope it will live up to my original expectations.

I'll bring it up with the team to check out. I think it's mostly just issues getting certain Amazon warehouses restocked fast enough with product.

Got mine yesterday but haven't really had time to truly test it out, but the little bit that I have tested works and sounds great. Also something that interests me is pairing it with a wiim sub, but I wanna get a second wiim sound for a stereo pair first. Anyone know if there would be any issues with pairing a sub to a stereo pair of wiim sounds? Or would I just be able to pair it with one wiim sound?

I saw that video after my initial post. I'm assuming it would be the same when trying to pair it with a stereo pair of Sounds.

On that note, I tried my single Sound in the living room just to see how it does in a more bigger space and it sounds surprisingly well, including some bass I can feel while sitting on the couch. Don't let the small size fool you. A stereo pair and a Wiim sub is gonna sound awesome.

This is me exactly. Ordered very early in the morning of the 21st. I was addicted to checking Amazon every morning to see when the "currently not available" would change. I thought since I had to be one of the first to order I would be one of the first to receive my new speakers. I was wrong. The excitement is long gone and I hope that when I do receive them the sound quality rejuvenates my enthusiasm.

I purchased two Sounds and a sub pro on the same day. I have been staring at the sub pro for over a month. I think the sub got delivered the 25th of November.
