So, this was working fine last weekend. Unplugged everything from the wall then powered back up after a week.

Opened Spotify from the wiim app on my iPhone where Spotify connect can see my radio but now, not the wiim.

If I click on airplay from the Spotify connect device screen the wiim is there and connects.

Unplugged the wiim and powered it back up - no change.

Checked wiim and phone are on the same wifi network.

Anyone know of any changes or whay may br causing this?

Reboot your router, and ensure that “show local devices only” is turned off under settings/devices in the Spotify app. Also try turning the DNS option to 8.8.8.8 in your device’s network settings in the WiiM Home app, and turn off ipv6. If possible set your router’s DNS to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 as well.

Aha! Very good advice, thank you very much!

It was turning off “show local devices only” that did it.

Spotify->Profile->Settings->Devices

It was the first thing I tried and instant success! Extra happy Saturday, thanks again.

THe Wiims were gone again in Spotify today. I turned off "local device visibility” under Spotify settings/devices — and the Pro+ group is now back. Not the Minis though, but that's ok. I don't want the Minis to pick up Spotify directly but only from the Pro+ as the group master anyway.

Shouldn't the Wiims all show up when they're all on the same local network as the iPhone though?
It also seems weird to me that the Wiim app shows up in the "Manage apps" in the browser, but not under "Connected apps" in the iPhone app. I'm not really understanding the local device and manage app settings I guess.
