I was using tidal connect with Wiim Pro for 5 months and didn't have any problems but a month or so during almost all listening sessions sound disappears but time keeps running. I tried reboot the device and went through settings but it didn't work. After 1-5 minutes the sound comes back itself and everything works fine till next seasion, only happens once per session. Does anybody else have the same issue?

I've not encountered that particular issue before.
I have resolved a couple of tidal connect issues in the past by uninstalling / reinstalling tidal.
Maybe next time it happens send feedback from within the wiim app.

I tried everything reinstall Tidal, reboot WIIM, return to factory settings nothing helps.

Maybe clutching at straws, but...
Do you have another device to cast from?
Output method? Analog, coax, optical?
Anything else in the chain changed in the last month?
Does the sound disappear / come back part way through a song?

I have only one device. I am using coax output and never changed anything in the chain. But maybe I will try different output, will see.

Usually I stop player when the sound disappears trying to get it back by going through settings and I proceed to listen to after a while. I tried tidal which is in wiim app, the same result. Today I switched coax to spdf, will see what happens.

I’ve had my WiiM pro for 3-4 months and so far so good with optical out. I use tidal connect as well and my only gripe is the missing first second or on a new selection. This isn’t a huge deal for me, as I tend to listen to complete albums more often than not.

I have this one too but as for you it is not a deal breaker for me.
It used to be that every time I pressed 'next' it'd lose the first 0.5 - 1 sec of a track (tidal connect), but not for a few weeks or more now.

Yep, I know what you are talking about. I just turned to classical music and I skip very seldom. But if I am listening to other genre that what happens even first song of an album starts with missing 1 sec or less.
