I sometimes get cut-outs listening to online (URL) streams like Radio Paradise. I've never had it happen to a streaming app. I use Spotify and Qobuz.

Does the Wiim response point to it being a device issue?

I experience the same on the WiiM Ultra also since the beginning of October. I never had a single problem before for half a year. It doesn't make a difference if I use Tidal Connect or the WiiM implementation. Strangely it does not happen every day but nothing has changed in my network.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick fix in case anyone else experiences Tidal songs constantly stopping or dropping out on the WiiM Ultra.
Before often cutting in and out every 60-90 seconds.
Once I adjusted the phone's battery/background settings to allow Tidal to run without restrictions, my playback became completely stable.
Here is how to fix it on your phone:
▪ Android: Long-press the Tidal app icon > App Info > Battery > Set to Unrestricted.
▪ iPhone: Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh > Toggle ON for Tidal. (Also ensure "Low Power Mode" is turned off).
Hope this helps anyone else running into the same bug!

How are you playing Tidal to your wiim?
If Tidal Connect or via the Wiim app, your phone can be turned off and the music still plays.
So I wonder quite how you're playing!
