Everything was working fine before the update.

Exactly.By cycling the power unit you mean unplug the power cable for a few minutes ?
I did that and it seems it helped on the sub out trouble.
Reboot and reset did not help on the Spotify thing
Power cycle = switch off and on again.Everything back to normal it seems
