USB power cable

Can I plug the power cable directly in to a usb socket on a mains socket? Just had house rewired with 3 pin (in UK) sockets with usb -an and usb- c sockets. Also can I use another cable if I want to move it around and use the cables already in place? USB a only or is it ok to use a usb c to usb c lead?

Also would it work via a 12v system in a motorhome? Quite fancy replacing the Echo Dot in the camper with a Wiim mini

WiiM Mini requires a 5V2A draw (or 10W). So, as long as anything you plug into it can sustain that then you are fine.
