I just tried selecting
United Kingdom - Largest Cities - Glasgow
and it was glacially slow. Eventually it displayed stations but if I backed out and selected another city it would stop responding again.

Vtuner is problematic at the best of times. It used to be the aggregator for Naim devices, and was always falling over (very aggravating for those Naimsters who've possibly spent several 1000s). Naim finally gave up on vtuner & run their own in-house aggregator. Better but nowhere near the flexibility of Lyrion.

The more I've looked at all these recent streamers (eg. Naim, CAMBRIDGE, Bluesound, etc.) the more I appreciate LMS. Okay, it isn't plug'n'play but the Windows version is pretty easy to set up - building in Material as the default interface would help a lot to boost its popularity.

Hope your vtuner problem gets sorted.

Not really a problem for me, I just thought I'd mention it. I'm never going to use it but I suppose others do.

Oh dear. I had had good service from vtuner over several years with my old Yamaha home cinema amp and a revo x3 clock radio. Sadly support was dropped over time. I renewed my vtuner subscription knowing I was going to buy the WiiM Ultra for a €7 fee for a year instead of a £7+ per month for ad free Tunedin Radio.
I have already written to vtuner to ascertain whether the radio stations aren’t loading because my account is registered to my previous technology or some other issue.
Hopefully I’ll get an answer soon.
