Because the Ultra does a great job as a preamp, the analog Rotel preamp at the bottom will probably be sold soon - with or without the matching poweramp. I'm looking to replace it with something class-D probably (NCore or 3E)

How satisfying that the Onkyo cassette deck and Ultra sit nicely side by side to fill the width of the full size hifi components.

I coincidently acquired a cassette deck just this month which is also an Onkyo and also silver. But mine in full size; yours is very cute.

Yes it was meant to be

Loving mine and it's very cute indeed. It has a drawer which comes out like a front loading cd player, but unfortunately it requires a small push to close it again. Was not the case when I last tried it... Gotta love vintage

I have a similar looking Denon drawer loading mini cassette deck, which is part of the Denon D-70 mini system.

This is coming very close to the setup I'm currently thinking of putting together.

WiiM Ultra - > Class D amp(s) - > thinking of jumping on the new Wharfedale Super Lintons.

Any considerations/recommendations based on your current experience?
