It probably means you don't have enough equipment

That's true, I used to have the K11R2R but replaced it with a Topping DX5ii. I really don't need any new gear (having just bought new speakers!) but I'm a sucker for a nice looking piece of kit!

I've kept my setup minimalist; I'll be adding a Fosi Audio Merak CD player, and the speakers are active Pioneer [S-DJ50X].
That's all you need.
