Hi All,

Newbie here...please help.

We have this system in our house that is connected to Bose loudspeaker in the garden.
At the moment the only input is a AM/FM radio tuner. I would like to be able to use Spotify from our phones. The input is RCA.

What model of Wiim should I get? Looking at for cheapest option thanks.

Hi,

If Spotify is the only thing you use with WiiM, then the Mini is fine. However, if the Wi-Fi signal in your installation is weak or far away from the router, I'd recommend choose the Pro for an Ethernet connection.

If WiiM is on 20% off in your country, I would choose Pro without hesitation.

If you need a remote control, the Pro Plus may be your best bet. Please consider what you need and what you do not need. 🤗

A comparison table of all WiiM devices is at the bottom of this page.

Can I connect the mini to an RCA in the amplifier?
Yes, the Mini comes with an AUX to RCA*2 cable that allows you to connect the Mini's AUX-out to the amplifier's RCA-in.

Our Wifi is very good.

What do you need the remote for?

I have a Spotify playlist in my presets. I can play it by simply pressing the preset button on the remote. I can also immediately stop the music when a call comes in.

If you use your phone all the time, you may not need the remote.

Ok thanks - I think we won't use the remote.
Can you connect the Wiim pro to 2 amplifiers? We also have an amplifier for the home cinema system.

What inputs does that home cinema system have?

If it have optical or coaxial inputs, you can connect the Pro to both the amplifier and the home cinema system. However, simultaneous playback is not possible.
