Wiim amp and tidal issues

Hello everyone. New owner here and am not able to stream tidal without it hanging every few seconds of play - stop and starting continuously. Netflix and YouTube playing smoothly without any issues. The set is connected to the tv and is in the bedroom. Router is in the living room. Signal strengthened to the bedroom with an extender as the wiim amp indicated a weak signal. Netflix and YouTube had no issues without extender even with “weak” signal.
Wiim still indicates weak wifi signal with extender. My phone indicates signal is good.

What could be wrong?

Hi Noobie,

Please try disabling the "Prefer DNS Server 8.8.8.8" by navigating to Device Settings -> Network Status -> Prefer DNS Server in the WiiM Home app, and check if this resolves the issue.

All resolved. After wiim amp and phone (controller) being on same wifi network with sufficient signal strength … tidal now streams fine. Now both on wifi extender network with good signal strength in bedroom.
