Wiim Amp Ethernet issue

Hello -

I use Jriver as a DLNA server. When playing anything higher than 24/96 using Ethernet, the Ultra will stutter/stop/start. However, via wifi all works.

I have several wiims (pro and pro plus) using ethernet and have no problems with higher bit rates.

Any reason why the amp would have problems with ethernet playback?

Amp or Ultra? You've been posting to the WiiM Amp and Amp Pro forum, so which Amp (if you have one)?

I've been using my Amp, Amp Pro and Ultra through Ethernet, but just temporarily. Depending on the actual cable, switch or router, WiFi could indeed serve a higher bandwidth than Ethernet, but even 100 Mbps should be sufficient for any 2-channel Hi-Res source.

That is, if there is no fault somewhere. Can you try your WiiM UltrAmp in exactly the same location, using exactly the same Ethernet cable as one of your Pro or Pro Plus streamers?

My apologies. It's the Wiim Amp. And yes, I've tried a pro in the same location with ethernet.
