What's New:

1. USB Output Enhancement: Added support for multiple USB soundcards.
2. USB Indexing Enhancement: Supports m3u and m3u8 playlist formats.
3. Improved Alarm Behavior for Plex: Default alarm sound will now play if Plex server is unavailable.

Bug Fixes:

1. Playback Enhancements:
   • Fixed an issue where playback could not resume after Wi-Fi reconnection.
   • Fixed an issue preventing Audible Books from playing through Alexa.
   • Fixed playback crash for Deezer alarms and presets.
   • Fixed noise issue when resuming Amazon Music.
   • Fixed no sound when switching between Bluetooth, Line or Optical inputs.
2. HDMI Input Issue: Resolved an occasional no sound issue.
3. Alarm Time Fix: Corrected rare incorrect alarm issue.
4. Group Stability: Fixed unexpected device removal from group.
5. General Enhancements: Various performance improvements and bug fixes to enhance overall operation.

Like any other WiiM firmware update (and like any firmware update for any smartphone) it is rolled out in stages. You will eventually get it as well.

is there no option to output both via USB and using the speaker terminals? I have an external DAC attached to a spectrum analyser that I'd like to have running while I can hear the music

No, WiiM devices only support one output type at a time.
