A beginner question about connecting a speaker in another room.

I have a Wiim Amp Pro with wired speakers and phono, CD, Qoboz and USB inputs. All very good.

I currently have a bluetooth speaker in another room that I can connect to from the Amp Pro with bluetooth. It is also used by other family members for Spotify streaming. The speaker is actually an old valve radio that I removed the internals from and replaced them with new speakers and a bluetooth kit, picture attached for no real reason.

My question is as follows. If I replace the bluetooth kit with a Wiim Mini can I:
  1. play from the Amp Pro inputs to the "Mini Speaker" via Wi-Fi
  2. as above but over both the wired Amp Pro speakers and the "Mini Speaker" (multi-room)
  3. enable other users (outside of the Wiim environment) to use bluetooth to stream to the "Mini Speaker"
Advice appreciated.

Yes, yes and yes ;)

Sure about scenario 1?

I tend to think that the only way to play from the WiiM Amp Pro to the WiiM Mini via Wi-Fi is by grouping them. This equals scenario 2.

You can still set the volume of the Amp Pro to zero, so it is possible to have no output from Mini, only.

If scenario 1 mean to play input from Amp to the Mini and at the same time play something else on the Amp, you are right. I didn't read it like that.

Hello! Everything will work very well in the general group! Put the WIIM mini and connect to the WIIM amp.

Except usb was mentioned as an input, which doesn't require grouping...
... which was why I didn't bother challenging @hgo58's triple yes!
It looks like my reading comprehension has vastly degraded over the last couple of days and I might have developed a severe case of discalculia, since I read this ...

... as USB being one input, not the only one.

It's certainly worth mentioning that the WiiM Mini can access music stored on a USB storage device connected to the WiiM Amp Pro with no grouping required. Agreed.
