Wiim Amp Ultra?

Not sure of the right place to put this but a wish list from me would be an Ultra model of the WiiM Amp -

Wiim Amp based around the Ultra - So .......

Display
Phono/Line/Optical/HDMI Inputs (USB useful but not essential)
Wired and Wireless networking
Speaker/Pre/Sub Outputs (digital output useful especially if it outputs all inputs including analogue ones but not essential)
100w into 8ohms, 200W into 4 Ohms and stable at 2ohms (200w plus)

and now the big one - if this could be done at a retail price in the UK of £500-£550 (Ultra is £349, Amp Pro is £399) then that would be fantastic.

To be honest, a product along those lines was mooted at a hifi show last year (see https://forum.wiimhome.com/threads/ultra-and-amp-pro-and-prices.3485/post-52251) so might be in the pipeline but probably not the next model to be released which has been teased in the 2024 recap post viz. “The folks in the lab are hard at work on new products including a perfect companion to the WiiM Ultra and any passive speakers”

@Burnside thanks for the info, very intersting. Am I reading it correct that there is likely to be a matching power amp for the Ultra, that would do the job nicely.

Also it works with an Ultra and passive speakers. It's a tricky one
