WIIM amp without internet

Hi
I have a WIIM amp which works well after setup with the WIFI of my current home.
I have to move to the countryside to a place without internet.
Does the WIIM amp only works via Bluetooth from my iPhone with 4G or 5G ?

Might you not then need another device to run the WiiM Home app as use of a hotspot sometimes removes wifi from the device running the hotspot?

No. The phone is part of the hotspot network in that case.

Sorry, but I'm with Burnside's (rhetorical, I'm sure) post on this one.
If I enable my phone's hotspot it disables the wifi, and I need to use another device to see / control the wiim.

Also if the WiiM is connected to the hotspot access point? That is strange.

The hotspot network is a new network where the phone is the "router".

Yes, you are right.
I just tested. and, for an Android phone with hotspot enabled and wifi disabled to force the mobile internet , the Wiim app on the phone still needs to use wifi to discover Wiim devices.
I connected a tablet to the hotspot and it works fine

Not in my experience - the phone acts like your router and is no longer a client of that hotspot network

Bluetooth should still work, though, if that's really all that's required.

Auto-sensing should prefer BT over any other source. Volume could be controlled on the Amp (and the phone's BT volume setting).

It would be practical to get a used tablet or sign up for a home router.

TP-Link 300Mbps 4G WiFi Router​

would give you a home wifi network for all your devices
