WiiM mini with Dac

I have the WiiM mini in my bedroom connected with optical cable to my Klipsch Fives Maclaren Edition.
Although I’m happy with the sound quality I’m getting, I was reading about the FiiO K11 r2r and wondered whether putting this between the WiiM mini and then sending the audio signal via RCA cables to my speakers would be an improvement to the Klipsch fives onboard DA.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I used it for a long time, with SMSL DO100. Not any issues even with sample rate changing. I think it's one of the perfect coupling for the mini...

Don't know but DO100 has very good measures, among the best. Does Klipsch support up to 192khz?

Do the Fives digitise the analog input to allow things like base equalisation and tone control to work?
