Wiim Pro EQ down sample?

Hi,
Does anyone know if the EQ in the WiiM Pro down samples the signal?

Need to EQ to get rid of a room peak at 53 Hz. Got an EQ in my AVR, but it down samples the signal to 24 bit/48 kHz when used.
My AVR got the AKM4490 DAC chip. As the new WiiM Pro Plus got the AKM4493 chip, it may be a good option for me.

Not that I’ve experienced. If you don’t have fixed volume set and EQ off, the signal won’t be bit perfect but otherwise there’s no change in bit depth or sample frequency if you use EQ in your WiiM device.
