Hi. When I play music with wiim pro plus or internet radio, the volume jumps from soft to louder to louder every second.
Where is the problem?

Open the WiiM Home app on your phone, choose the three dot settings menu in the bottom right hand corner, then choose feedback on the next page and enter details of your issue.

Please return the EQ to flat. Does the sound then return to normal?

If so, I think your EQ is overdone. ( Lowering the max volume of the WiiM device to about 85% may solve the problem, but I won't know until I try it...)

Also, please try the preset EQ first.

All I hear is severe compression, but it's impossible to tell if it's been introduced by the phone's mic, by the speakers, by the power amplifier in use, by digital clipping due to the massive EQ or if the noise was produced to sound like this deliberately.

Going back to flat EQ is certainly the first step. Knowing the rest of your setup except the WiiM Pro Plus would be helpful, too.

Thanks a lot, it was exaggerated with the EQ, now everything is fine.
