You have me on what you are calling a whitelist. When I go to check for updates it says I am current. Yet it's a older firmware version. Do I need to do something special?

Raise a ticket to ask them to remove your device form that whitelist, but remember that updates are rolled out gradually over the entire estate (hence the “in progress” tag) so you may still need to wait till it gets round to you.

I don't think I can risk being taken off said whitelist. I was put on it because some Ultras don't work properly with the newest chromecast SDK.

Does this update give bit perfect Chromecast support including hi res content?

It’s a bit ambiguous to me and suggests it’s more to do with Chromecast groups given the mention of the google home app. I don’t have the update yet but will give it a spin when I do.

I would really like to see something official about the current google cast status and possible future options... I mean bit perfect support here including hi res.

I have a Mac with the new Sequoia OS and the Plex server needed permission for the local network to run. You may need to reboot the Mac as well.

I tried Plex and hit play on an album. Trouble was, there was no way to stop playing. I searched everywhere on Plex and couldn't find a puse or stop. I then played a song from JRiver, and then Roon. Both of them I could end the playback. But what was crazy, is that after playing Roon and JRiver, the album I was playing on Plex resumed,

Note I tried rebooting the Plex server and the remote Plex with no luck. It just keeps playing.

There is a demon inside.

Hi everyone!

After this update, I have a problem with displaying mp3 and wave files from an external SSD drive. I tried different file systems and different drives and still the same...
Pls help :(

Am I the only one that installed the update, but doesn't have USB output as an option? The icon is "greyed out" on the WIIM Ultra screen, and doesn't show up as listed in the app output selection screen. I tried connecting my laptop via USB (thought it might have been because a device wasn't connected) with the same result. Will it only output USB through a USB DAC or soundcard? In other words, it won't show up or work as a USB audio device when connected directly to a computer?

Thanks for the info! I had the false hope of being able to output as if the Ultra was like a connected sound device. That would have made it an all in one solution for me. Now I'll need to add a separate device to rip my LPs to digital.

It would be potentially possible with the upcoming DLNA cast feature and the DLNA software renderer installed somewhere where it's also possible to capture the stream.

I went this route, and could not be happier with ripping LP's to Digital.

And if you use Vinyl Studio Pro, you can remove all the clicks/pops as well as rumble.
