Wiim Ultra Remote acting up

The backward function of my Ultra remote 2 control (the new silver one) has stopped responding, unless I push the left part of the wheel really hard. The remote is only 2 months old, so I'm very annoyed about it. I wonder, in case it's because of dust, is there any way to remove the wheel and clean it? Or, is there any software reason for that to happen and, if so, is there a fix?
Thanks

Please don't attempt to disassemble it.😅

Is the firmware version for Remote 51? Mine is working fine, so I don't think the firmware is the issue. Please try re-pairing the remote.

The area outlined in red indicates the active area of the Back button.

Does pressing anywhere within this area produce no response? When you press the button, does it "click" and does the LED in the upper right light up? If it doesn't light up, I suspect there is a loose connection.

If you send the ticket or report it to the retailer, I guess they'll exchange it for you.

Battery is fully charged. Definetely looks like hardware issue. I opened a ticket yesterday, no answer yet (only the outomatic reply). We'll see what they come up with

I opened a ticket, got and email with questions (that I answered) and a request to upload a video... of me pressing the button? Sounds like I might be taken around in circles. I can't shoot a video and told them... no answer...

Sounds to me like the switch on the pcb is faulty/dirty. It's not really a switch in the traditional sense. It's 2 little contacts that are bridged by a carbon layer that is attached to the underside of the button you press. I don't think that WiiM support will take you around in circles, mostly they are very good at attacking problems. Why can't you shoot a video?

I can't shoot a video because my phone camera stopped working.
Actually I just got a replay from customer support - looks like they're sending me a new one.
I'll post here when I receive it.
