Might depend on what you want to play / what your music source is, and quite what you mean / expect by full control.
Streaming service, such as spotify, tidal etc?
Local files?

The WiiM cannot be controlled externally, if you mean on another network.

Even though you can connect to the WiiM using the different "connect" protocols from the PC applications (Google Cast, Spotify, Tidal, etc.), you cannot change WiiM device configurations from other than a mobile phone connected to the same network as the WiiM.

The track selection and play control can be done through the different PC applications used as sources.
